Grain Tech Ltd (GT) was formed as a private company in mid-1986, bringing together specialised food-processing technology and experienced project personnel to undertake a wide range of processing installations. Since then, the company has established itself as a specialist in processing, handling, and storage systems, building a reputation for advanced processes, equipment, and service to the food processing, agro-processing, feed milling, bulk materials handling, and related industries — underpinned by innovative design and sound engineering practice.

We manufacture and supply a wide range of proprietary processing equipment for food industry applications, from raw material intake through to finished product packing. We also provide design, manufacture, and installation for specialist processing requirements, as well as complete remodelling and process extensions.

Since 1986, we've completed a number of specialised food processing projects, including complete processing lines for the grain and feed industries, seed processing, breakfast cereals, and snack foods, as well as alternative fuel manufacturing applications. We've also designed and built prototype machines for continuous processing industries, including a range of fluid bed processors with their associated upstream and downstream handling equipment, and high-capacity dust control systems installed across a broad range of industrial applications.

In the early 1990s, Grain Tech expanded into bulk handling installations for bakeries and the chemical/pharmaceutical industries, as well as food processing extrusion applications and bulk handling for malt processing and breweries. During this period, we also formed partnerships with leading international processing equipment manufacturers, supplying feedstuff processing equipment such as pellet presses, pellet coolers, milling equipment, and dryers for feedstuff and alternative fuel processing plants. By integrating these components into Grain Tech–designed plants, we've expanded our capabilities — including exporting equipment for processing and manufacturing projects across South Asia.
